The Terre Haute Community Band Story

The main purpose of the Terre Haute Community Band Inc. is to promote concert band and symphonic pops music performance and enjoyment in the Wabash Valley, but, also, we are a group of musicians who simply love to play our instruments!

The Band was formed in 1999 and is dedicated to:

• Providing an opportunity for area musicians to express themselves through performance.
• Providing the citizens of Terre Haute, Indiana with performances of band music which includes a variety of musical styles.
• Fostering musical growth and performance skills of members and amateur musicians in the community at large.
• Exposing the community to and fostering its appreciation of quality wind, percussion and orchestra music in live performance.
